Introduction
This website is a family tribute to Lloyd Addison Harding (1921 - 2003), a master knifemaker and bladesmith from Western Australia. While Lloyd's knife templates and drawings have been available through Tharwa Valley Forge, much of his finished work has remained undocumented. This website brings together photographs of those knives, preserving them as a permanent record of his craftsmanship. Also included is a short biographical timeline of his life and knifemaking career, for those who wish to learn more about Lloyd.
The gallery includes samples of his earliest work through to the refinement of his craft over many years. This collection of handmade, custom knives spans a wide range of styles, including bowies, daggers, hunters, skinners, folders, miniatures, and others.
We hope this website serves as both a lasting record of Lloyd's work and a source of inspiration for future generations of knife makers and collectors. His full archive of scanned knife templates and drawings is also available to download, print, and use.
